Transportation always affects the social and economical relations in the world. We can dare to say that this phenomenon has the basic share portion in foundation of urbanization.
For its excellent, strategic and geographical location, Iran is considered as one of the outstanding countries in transportation field.
In 2001 all economical projects on transportation have increasingly reached to 51,000,000,000,000 Rls., which is 6.9% of the gross domestic products (GDP). This increasing value is the result of economical efforts of Transportation Organization on marine, aerial, overland and supporting services.
In 2001 cover and above than 4 million tons goods with 8600 million dollars value has been exported from the country. This amount is equal to 1.95 times more than none-petroleum exports of the country and equal to 40% of the whole imports of Iran. These statistics show an increase about 79.2% in weight and 16% in value.
Fundamental facilities, equipment, software and hardware are not enough and the only needs for transportation system of a country, for the political and economical relations are much more important than the former mentioned factors.
Considering the importance of this section and in order to increase the potentialities, it’s planned to organize The 2nd Specialized and the 1st International Exhibition of Transportation Transition and Customs Services in Bandar-e-Abbas, which is undoubtedly the main passage for transportation in Iran. This events aim is to show and introduce the abilities and potentials of this industry.
